When should you apply? Click on the timeline to discover important enrollment dates and next steps.
Step 1: Create Your SchoolMint Account
Visit rpacademy.schoolmint.net and create an account. If you've applied before, log in instead of creating a new account.
Step 2: Start Your Application
Once your account is ready, begin your application. Check the timeline above—depending on the enrollment period, you may be applying for next year or the current year's waitlist.
Step 3: Timeline & Lottery
Open Enrollment: February 14 - March 1
During this period, all applications are given equal weight.
After March 1: If we receive more applicants than available spots, we'll conduct a lottery. You'll receive your offer through SchoolMint via email—make sure to respond within 5 days!
What Happens Next
August: We'll send out School Year Registration Updates and Permission Slips
Back to School: You'll start the year with an awesome orientation week
April: New Student Night (You'll receive an invite!)
From February 15 and March 1, RPA follows Oregon law to provide a two-week time where all applications, no matter when they are submitted in that timeframe, receive the same weight. If we receive more than our forecasted number, we will have a lottery to determine who we can offer a place, while the remaining families are at the top of the new wait list
Nope! Current RPA students will continue at RPA until they graduate high school or decide to move.
Yes! Your 8th grader's spot is saved at the school. Don't reapply!
Exciting! We do need you to fill out an application for any non-RPA sibling (5th grade and older). If a family has a current RPA student, their new-to-RPA sibling's application receives preference over non-sibling applicants.
Yes! If you were on our waitlist during this school year, you will need to reapply during Open Enrollment for 2026-27(February 15 - March 1). This gives you another opportunity for admission during the formal Open Enrollment window.
