At Redmond Proficiency Academy, music classes blend history, theory, and practice to encourage creative exploration and artistic development.
Offerings
Whether a student has never touched an instrument or has been playing since elementary school, RPA’s music program meets them where they are. With classes at all skill levels and options from jazz ensemble to rock band, there’s something for everyone.
Opportunities
In addition to classroom instruction, RPA middle and high school students have the opportunity to build their confidence and skill through live performance and production. Students take the stage at Music Showcases to perform not only their covers of classics but also to debut original compositions. For high school students, the year culminates with a one-of-a-kind opportunity as they record songs in a studio setting and dive in to music production to create their own original album.
