A high-stakes mystery has taken over the hallways at middle school, and the student sleuths in Ms. Pecaut's CSI: Case Closed are officially on the clock.
On Tuesday, September 22, classroom disaster struck: Ms. Wade’s prized Fuggler doll, Bodado, vanished from her room during a narrow 20-minute window between 7:05 AM and 7:25 AM. With no obvious perpetrator of the heist, the classroom was instantly transformed into a active crime scene, leaving detective teams to piece together what really happened.
Rather than relying on simple guesses, these young investigators are putting real forensic science to the test. Over the course of the investigation, teams are:
Processing Physical Evidence: Dusting crime scene surfaces for latent fingerprints and lifting muddy shoe prints left near the scene.
Conducting Lab Analysis: Testing unknown mystery powders found at the site and analyzing microscopic trace evidence.
Documenting and Analyzing Behavior: Decoding disguised handwriting samples from ransom notes and interrogating staff members playing in-character suspects to spot inconsistencies in their alibis.
The investigation will culminate in a formal board of inquiry, where detectives will present a claim identifying their chief suspect, backed by concrete forensic evidence. Will Bodado be safely returned to Ms. Wade? Stay tuned for the final verdict as students put their problem-solving skills to the test.
