Finding the Balance: Music and Recreation — Two Weeks of Bands, Ska, and Mölkky

June Term is RPA’s tradition of giving students two weeks to deep-dive into whatever they’re passionate about learning. In Finding the Balance: Music and Recreation, that meant new bands forming, a first-ever RPA Ska performance, and a crash course in a Swedish lawn game most students had never heard of before this class.

Instructor Mr. Moore: What Inspired You?

“Watching two groups of students form bands that they plan to continue next year. First time RPA music students performed Ska. Teaching everyone how to play Mölkky and watching them immediately take it very seriously!”

What Happened:
