10/15 – Tuesday at lunch: Civil servant thank you cards
10/16 – Wednesday: Lunch clubs
10/17 – Thursday at lunch: Toys for Brightside Animal Shelter
10/18 – Friday at lunch: Assemble bags for homeless
Donate to Support Local Homeless Veterans
As a way to help those in need in our community, advisors are collecting donations of hygiene and basic need items to assembly emergency hygiene kits that the Central Oregon Veteran’s Outreach (COVO) will use to give to homeless living in camps in the area. All items will be assembled into bags on Friday at lunch.
Needed Items:
- Warm socks
- Wipes
- Toothbrush/paste
- Feminine products
- Deodorant
- Band-aids
- Hand/foot warmers
- Granola/protein bars/jerky
- Lotion and lip balm
10/14 – Monday at lunch: Neighborhood Clean-up
Join staff to help pick up trash outside the school to make our neighborhood look better. Meet at the SE door of the MPR to get your gloves and garbage bags.
10/15 – Tuesday at lunch: Civil servant thank you cards
Join Ms. McPherson in Room 116 to write thank you cards to people who make a difference every day.
You can write to Redmond City Council Members, Deschutes County Commissioners, local law enforcement officers (including our own SRO, officer Tim Warburg), firefighters and RPA staff
10/16 – Wednesday: Lunch clubs
10/17 – Thursday at lunch: Toys for Brightside Animal Shelter
Join Mrs. Gautreaux in rm 118 to make animal toys for Brightside Animal shelter in Redmond.
10/18 – Friday at lunch: Assemble bags for homeless
Join Ms. Wade and the SAGA Club in Room 120 to help take our donations and assemble hygiene kits for COVO that supports veterans in homeless camps in Central Oregon.
