Things to know about College Application Week

It’s that time of year again! RPA’s College Application Week (CAW) is scheduled for Oct. 23-27, a week where RPA joins more than 100 high schools and community-based organizations around the state in hosting Oregon College Application Week. CAW is part of Oregon Goes To College and is an affiliate program with the national  American College Application Campaign.

The goal of the week is to assist all graduates of the RPA Class of 2024 as they apply for post-high school educational options, including certificate programs, two-year college degree programs, and four-year universities.

During CAW, students at RPA will participate in a variety of college admission activities and workshops including:

• Finding your college match
• Completing applications
• Writing essays
• Managing Financial Aid
• And, the scholarship search process

Students will receive a raffle ticket for every college application, scholarship, and college entrance essay they complete in the Future Center during this week. Prizes include $150 gift cards to Fred Meyer, Walmart, and Best Buy. Other prizes included are assorted gift cards, and gift baskets with essential items for college students.
