Student COVID-19 Testing Program

RPA Families have the opportunity to participate in a free weekly COVID-19 testing program for your student. This program is being offered through the Oregon Health Authority. Redmond Proficiency Academy is partnering with the Sky Lakes Laboratory to process the self administered tests. 

Students and families who decide to enroll in this program will be able to pick up their testing kits from the school and self administer the tests at home and then mail their tests to the Sky Lakes Laboratory. This program is entirely voluntary and free of charge. If you would like to enroll in this program please fill out the following google form, COVID-19 Weekly Testing Program. 

Eligible students:

• All Oregon K-12 students.
• Have not had a positive COVID-19 test in the past 90 days.

Participation in the program and all results are confidential. Parents and/or guardians will receive test results directly through MyChart which is an online medical application that you will be provided with upon signing up for the service. You should receive test results within 24 hours of the laboratory receiving the samples. All positive COVID-19 results will be reported to the local public health authority for case investigation and contact tracing, as required by law. Results will not be shared directly with RPA, but the local public health authority will contact RPA in the event of a positive test.
