Guide to Staff Absence Reporting

Planned Absences (personal, professional, etc)

  1. Request approval in advance from your supervisor.
  2. Report absence online on Staff Absence Reporting Form.
  3. After approved, try to find staff available to cover.
  4. If no staff is available, submit absence to Subfinder. (teachers only)

Unplanned Absence (sick leave, etc)

  1. Submit absence to Subfinder (earlier the better). (teachers only)
  2. Report absence online on Staff Absence Reporting Form.

*Remember to arrange sub plans and be sure Deb Troxel (MS) and Melissa Meeker (HS) are aware of the sub plans.

You will need to follow the steps to register with subfinder (teachers only) before you can submit absences.

The earlier you can submit a job, the better. There have been days when subs were not available to cover all subrequests.

Please remember to include the campus where your 1st class meets.
