RPA students begin limited in-person instruction

Limited in-person instruction began this week with a few students volunteering at RPA’s Learn & Play daycare.

Students work two- hour shifts with one other high school student. They assist with setting up learning opportunities for the daycare children, planning activities, helping clean and preparing for the next day, and – of course – playing and giving the children lots of love.

Some of the student volunteers are also completing a self-paced online course called Child Care 101 that will provide them CTE credit, first aid training, safe sleep training, and other child care topics.

RPA Learn & Play still has open spots for children six weeks to preschool with many part-time options available.
