RPA Staffer Chance Dahms Recognized with We Are One Award

Chance Dahms (L) receiving an award from Executive Director Jon Bullock.

RPA’s lead custodian, Chance Dahms, was recently honored with the first-ever We Are One Award, a recognition for RPA staff who make outstanding contributions to the school’s culture. Recipients have demonstrated an exceptional commitment to doing “whatever it takes” to ensure student success. RPA celebrates these individuals for embracing the belief that together, through both individual and collective responsibility we can transform lives.

On top of being a custodian, Chance is also something of a “Mr. Odd Job” guy, who does repairs around the RPA campuses, routes mail, helps with the theatre building sets, chaperons trips, and even acts as a contingency bus driver. RPA recently purchased a school bus and has a full-time driver, but Chance has had the opportunity to fill in quite a bit this year after he became licensed.

Chance is notorious on campus for his positive, can-do attitude, and fully embraces the “whatever it takes” mantra to see that students succeed.

Chance received a plaque and a permanent plaque honoring awardees is being installed on campus.
