RPA announces winner of video contest

Redmond Proficiency Academy (RPA) Senior Vanesza Pereira has won RPA’s video contest, according to business and marketing instructor Sandy Cloud.
Pereira will receive a brand new Chromebook valued at over $400 for her win.
Pereira’s short video explained why RPA is the best education option for her and many other Central Oregon students.
Sophomore Liam Windhamsmith’s submission won second place.
Contest rules stated that videos were to be produced by students without professional assistance and without the aid of music, animation or graphics that students did not create themselves.
“This is the first year we’ve done a video contest, and I think students had fun explaining why they enjoy their RPA experience and what it means to them,” Cloud said. “Hopefully we’ll have even more submissions next year!”
