Redmond Proficiency Academy has an agreement with Cascades East Transit to provide transportation on its regularly established routes* from hubs throughout Central Oregon to the Redmond CET Hub, where high school students walk to the RPA High School, while RPA shuttles wait to take middle school students to our Middle School campus. Our Office Staff work with your family to ensure every student has what they need, when they need it.

Students must always carry their RPA student ID card in order to utilize the CET and be prepared to show the card to the driver. Please visit Cascade East Transit at http://www.cascadeseasttransit.com or call 541-385-8680 between the hours of 7:30am to 4:30pm Monday through Friday if you have specific transportation questions.

*This excludes Dial-a-Ride and Recreational Routes; regular fees must be paid by families for these services.

Please make sure that students look at their CET schedule before selecting their RPA class schedule in order to sign up for classes that are offered during the time they are in Redmond.

The Redmond CET Hub is located on Kalama Ave. in between Fred Meyer and Lowes. Students are required to utilize crosswalks at Glacier and Highland Avenues. Click here to view the location and walking map.

For the safety of the students:

  • They will need to use the crosswalk located on the corner of 6th and Glacier and walk on the sidewalk all the way to the CET Hub.
  • Students should NOT cross Glacier Ave. at 7th street, due to NO crosswalk present

The CET hub is monitored at the regular end-of-day by RPA Staff to ensure safety for all students waiting for their ride.

At RPA, part of caring for our community is being respectful of our neighbors’ spaces. Please take a look at the map below to understand where our students and families should be parking throughout the school year.

Parking outside of these areas may subject cars to towing or ticketing at the owner’s expense. The best plan for everyone concerned is to know and follow the guidelines below. Thank you!
