RPA takes student safety very seriously.
In addition to safety drills, two times a year we conduct training provided by the “I Love U Guys Foundation”.
The foundation has created a Standard Response Protocol (SRP) that allows students, staff, parents, and first responders to use identical language in case of an emergency so they clearly understand roles and which actions to take in case of an emergency.
RPA will send student safety information home after the training, but please feel free to check out their website to familiarize yourself and your family with the SRP verbiage.
RPA is a proud member of SafeOregon. SafeOregon is a program created for Oregon students, parents, school staff, community members and law enforcement officers to report and respond to student safety threats. SafeOregon has a free, anonymous tip line for students, parents, and community members. This is another way in which to help our students feel safe and secure at school. Visit safeoregon.com to learn more or to report a tip.
