New Open Course Opportunities and Advisory Update

RPA has some exciting Open Course opportunities this year along with some changes to the format of Advisory for the rest of the semester.

Students who are interested in signing up for one of these open courses should stop in at the Glacier Front Office. A staff member will be able to help you add one of these exciting course opportunities.  

Advisory
All RPA High School students will be enrolled in Advisory for the first semester. There will be limited times throughout the school year that advisory classes will meet in person. Advisory will not be an in-person class but rather an asynchronous class through Google Classroom where students can access important announcements, culture activities and community building activities.  

By completing different activities throughout the year, students will have the ability to earn .25 elective credit each semester. This class will not negatively impact students’ GPA, but students can earn credit for doing simple tasks and staying engaged. Students will meet with their academic advisor throughout the school year to help with building schedules and other important academic information. Students should reach out to their advisor if they need any assistance with classes or their schedules.
