Join a Club at RPA

Have you ever thought about joining one of RPA’s many clubs? RPA currently has 15 active clubs with approximately 130 students engaged in a variety of interests and activities. With such a broad diversity of interests, there is virtually something for everyone. 

The SAGA Club is led by advisor Judd Wagner and student leader Juniper Rook. They are currently focused on recruiting new members and will hold their first meeting on Tuesday, Oct. 17 at 11:30 a.m.

The Marine Biology Club, advised by Keri Trulsen & Hannah Fawcett and led by Riley Nagayama, meets every other Tuesday at 11:30 a.m. in the theater. They are working on adopting an endangered animal.

Ray Randall leads the Diversity Club, advised by Ross Duncan. They meet Thursdays at 11:30 a.m in. G205 and are focused on teaching cultural awareness in Central Oregon.

The D&D Club, also advised by Ross Duncan, is led by Mason George and meets Tuesdays 2-4 p.m. in F108. They are running four campaigns currently and working to elect more officers.

Camryn Rundle leads the Chess Club, advised by Sandy Cloud, which meets Thursdays 1:30-3 p.m. in F109. With very few members currently, they are focused on recruiting.

The Fashion and Sewing Club is led by Sagan Orchard and advised by Qristy. They meet Thursdays 2-3:30 p.m. in E3 over the winter and are working on individual projects.

Ethan Stelzer advises the Yearbook Club led by Megan Craig. They meet virtually and are currently working on getting pictures.

The Nordic Ski Team is led by student Alex Larson and Head Coach David Smullin. They had an info night on Oct. 18 at 6 p.m. at the Ridgeview High Library and their season has not started yet.

Kristi Miller advises the Cosplay Club led by Harley Haro. They meet Wednesdays 2-3:30 p.m. in E3 and are planning a group cosplay event.

Matt Killpack advises the Model UN Club. They are preparing for a conference in Eugene in April from April 11-13. Students in this club can earn high school credit and will be diving into the culture, government, and political system of the Netherlands, who they will represent at the conference.

The Newspaper Club is led by Ulli Tingley and advised by Tamara Bremont. They meet Wednesdays at 11 a.m. in the Union and are publishing their first edition.

Amelia Arant leads the Service Club, advised by Jess Schueler. They meet Mondays 2-3:30 p.m. for four weeks starting mid-October to make meals for Bethlehem Inn.

Vivian McDaniel leads the Acapella Club, advised by Mr. Moore. They meet Tuesdays 1:30-2:30 p.m. and are engaging in community performances while teaching others acapella.

Finally, the Martial Arts Club is led by Isaiah Villagomez and advised by Logan Harvey. They meet Thursdays 1:30-2:30 p.m. and are focused on learning the fundamentals.
