Class of 2021 Graduation

We know this is a unique time, and we know that all students and their families are facing the current challenges in their own unique ways. RPA has always honored the uniqueness of each student, and we intend to do the same when it comes to celebrating the Class of 2021.

During RPA’s Graduation Ceremony, RPA graduates will have an amazing opportunity to have a personal graduation experience where they will be honored for their accomplishment and can celebrate with their family, as well as with RPA staff. During RPA’s Graduation Ceremony, students will be able to walk across the stage to receive their diploma. RPA will also be paying for all graduates to have professional pictures taken that will feature graduates, family members, and RPA staff. This opportunity is optional and open to all graduating students. With family cooperation, we are confident that we can follow the guidance of the Oregon Health Authority and the Oregon Department of Education around social distancing during this event. As we progress through the planning process of RPA’s Graduation Ceremony, more details will be communicated to students and families.

RPA is also creating a digital graduation ceremony that will air on COTV at 6:00 pm on May 26, 2021. We will also share a digital copy of the ceremony with all graduates and families that they can download, share, and save. This ceremony will include a pre-recorded commencement speech and will recognize all of the graduates, including an opportunity for every student to record and share their own personalized congratulatory or farewell video message to their classmates, teachers, and families. Also included in this ceremony will be speeches from staff members and students. We hope this digital ceremony will be a cherished keepsake for families to have and to look back on in years to come.

Families were emailed earlier last week detailing graduation information. If you have any questions, please reach out to your student’s advisor!
