High school students in Instructor Ethan Steltzer’s AP Studio Art class are preparing submissions for their digital portfolios due later this month.

In an AP Art and Design course, students develop the skills that artists and designers use and create a portfolio of work they can use in the future.

The collection of work showcases practice, experimentation, and revision as well as demonstrating a mastery of materials and a high level of quality, skill, and technique.

In addition, students are required to submit a written component that connects their work to a sustained investigation of materials, ideas, and subject matter.
