ACT Assessment testing Day – April 7


This spring, Redmond Proficiency Academy will assess all students in grades 9,10, and 11. In order to accommodate testing, all juniors will participate in the ACT with Writing and all freshmen and sophomores will participate in the Summative Aspire Assessment. Freshmen and sophomores will have a modified schedule on April 3 and all high school students will have modified schedules on April 16 and 18. Please read below for grade-specific information.

ACT Assessment Day April 7 (Freshmen/Sophomores/Juniors)

A) All Juniors will take the ACT with Writing on April 7, 2020. This assessment is used in place of traditional state testing. Students must report to the Glacier Building by 7:45am and the test will conclude at 12:00pm. There will be no classes the remainder of the day. In the next few weeks students will be given additional information about classroom locations for testing.

B) All Freshmen and Sophomores will be taking the ACT Aspire Summative assessment on April 7, 2020. Students must report to school by 7:45 a.m. and the assessment will conclude at 12:50 p.m. All freshmen, sophomores, and juniors will spend all day engaged in a battery of assessments, including English, Reading, Writing, Mathematics, and Science. There will be no classes the remainder of the day. In the next few weeks students will be given additional information about classroom locations for testing.

C) Seniors will be excused from school on this date.
