The Ubuntu Education & leadership Summer Symposium will occur at the COCC Bend Campus from July 6th – 9.
The symposium is a summer Leadership and Learning Opportunity for Self-Identifying Black and Afrocentric high school students and Allies.
The Ubuntu Summer Symposium introduces self-identifying Black and Afro-Centric high school students and their allies to the college experience through structured academic, leadership, and cultural activities. The goal is to expose students to different elements of the college experience that will better prepare them for the transition from high school into college. The program offers a dynamic curriculum that integrates leadership, college preparation, and culturally relevant themes for support of self-identifying Black and Afro-Centric students.
