RPA Senior Accepted into the University of Oregon’s Architecture Program

RPA senior Liam Windhamsmith has been accepted into the University of Oregon’s Architecture Program where he plans to train to become an architect.
Liam credits RPA’s customizable scheduling for helping him spend more time working and preparing for his future. In addition to his school work, Liam has worked for a local architecture firm as well as several local contractors.
Liam said his Jan Term class, My Tiny House Design, “was one of the most beneficial classes in respect to my interest in Architecture. I spent a lot of time learning about green housing and affordability, and it offered a very hands-on experience.”
After college, he plans to move back to Central Oregon to work at a local architecture firm. Liam notes that Bend is one of the country’s fastest growing cities, providing substantial demand for the building and design industry.
