Transportation to RPA is easy!
Redmond Proficiency Academy has an agreement with Cascades East Transit to provide transportation on its regularly established routes* from hubs throughout Central Oregon to the RPA campuses.
Students must always carry their RPA student ID card in order to utilize the CET and be prepared to show the card to the driver. Please visit Cascade East Transit at http://www.cascadeseasttransit.com or call 541-385-8680 between the hours of 7:30am to 4:30pm Monday through Friday if you have specific transportation questions.
*This excludes Dial-a-Ride and Recreational Routes; regular fees must be paid by families for these services.
Please make sure that students look at their CET schedule before selecting their RPA class schedule in order to sign up for classes that are offered during the time they are in Redmond.
As you may or may not know, the CET Redmond Hub has moved from the Redmond Public Library to its new location located on Kalama Ave. in between Fred Meyer and Lowes. With these changes, comes some new guidelines and expectations you need to be aware of. With the move, students will now be required to utilize crosswalks at Glacier and Highland Avenues. For the safety of the students:
- They will need to use the crosswalk located on the corner of 6th and Glacier and walk on the sidewalk all the way to the CET Hub.
- Students should NOT cross Glacier Ave. at 7th street, due to NO crosswalk present
